Getting Info claim final spot in Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2 finals over LAG
Last night Getting Info claimed the final spot in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2 Grand Finals powered by INUI after an exciting three-map series against LAG. The series saw Getting Info pull off a reverse sweep after conceding Train to LAG, with the orgless squad rallying around Zack "XotiC" Elshani to win Dust2 and Anubis.
The series kicked off on LAG's map pick of Train, with Brett "brett" Rhein and co. making a good case for the pick as were dominant on their T-side, winning the half 10-2. While LAG were a bit shaky on their CT-side, this massive lead was too much for Getting Info to overcome leading to LAG eventually taking Train 13-9.
Moving onto Dust2, Getting Info began the map with a 4-0 start on their T-side before LAG answered back by winning the next eight rounds in a row, thus winning the half 8-4 and making a persuasive case to win the series 2-0. Unfortunately for LAG, this case fell apart in the second half of Dust2 as Getting Info had their turn in the driver's seat winning their CT-side pistol and the next seven rounds in a row to claim an 11-8 lead before ultimately closing out the map 13-9.
With the series tied up after two exciting maps, Anubis ended up being a one-sided beatdown by Getting Info as they put on a great showing up winning their CT-side 9-3 before closing out the map 13-4 as LAG were powerless against the combined performances of Derek "dare" Brown and XotiC posting 32 combined kills.
