Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2 Quarterfinals Day 3: LAG knock BLUEJAYS out
LAG have advanced to the semifinals of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2 powered by INUI after a hard-fought series against BLUEJAYS on June 26th.

This new LAG squad, which previously played under the Vagrants tag, have been playing well in Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2. They advanced to the playoffs with a 3-2 record and managed to defeat BLUEJAYS, who were unbeaten in the competition after breezing past the Swiss group stage.
LAG started the series by guaranteeing Inferno, their map pick. It was a close game as BLUEJAYS survived five map points and forced overtime, but in the end, LAG prevailed and won by 16-13.
BLUEJAYS tied the series after Dust2 with somewhat of a comfortable victory, despite LAG's Mason "mason" Watkins top-fragging with 21 kills and finishing with 107.1 ADR.
The series moved on to Ancient, and unlike the other two maps, we couldn't tell who were going to win based on the first half. They went to the second half tied 6-6, but LAG quickly showed they were the better team last night, as they had a very good T-side. They won five in a row after losing the pistol and closed out the game shortly after.
While Justin "Sandman" Saulle finished behind mason after all three maps, he definitely deserves kudos for top-fragging on Inferno and leading the charges on that Ancient T-side.
As for BLUEJAYS, they made it very far despite having Tommy "Axed" Ryan, who's been a coach for the past five years, as a stand-in.
The quarterfinals of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2 will wrap up today with BOSS vs. Getting Info at 12:00AM.
