kyousuke impressed everyone during his time with Spirit Academy

kyousuke joins Falcons

The 17-year-old will add yet another firepower boost to Falcons.

Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin has replaced Emil "Magisk" Reif in Falcons' active CS2 lineup, the Saudi organization announced on June 23rd. This move had been in the works since May, when Alejandro "Anonimotum" Gomis of Sheep Esports and Guillaume "neL" Rathier reported it, but Falcons made it official following the conclusion of the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

With this, kyousuke is set to make his debut in tier-one CS in the second half of 2025. The 17-year-old has quickly become one of CS2's hottest prospects as a result of his performances with Spirit Academy. kyousuke averaged a 1.29 rating in his first year as a pro and has been consistently compared to Danil "donk" Kryshkovets.

Falcons hope that kyousuke will be the final piece of the puzzle to help push the team to consistently dispute for the No. 1 spot. They won PGL Bucharest 2025 in April prior to the arrival of Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov.

However, they notably failed to make strides at the BLAST.tv Austin Major, having been knocked out of Stage Two with a 1-3 record, following losses to B8, Lynn Vision, and MIBR.

With kyousuke, Falcons are now:

  • Nikola "NiKo" Kovač

  • Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski

  • Denmark René "TeSeS" Madsen

  • Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov

  • Maxim "kyousuke" Lukin

  • Denmark Danny "zonic" Sørensen (Coach)

  • Abdul "degster" Gasanov (Inactive)

  • Denmark Emil "Magisk" Reif (Inactive)
