Swisher played well but it wasn't enough

M80 lose crucial game versus FURIA at BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage Two

The NA team had a rough T-side.

M80 now find themselves on the brink of elimination from BLAST.tv Austin Major Stage Two following a 13-TK defeat to FURIA this Sunday, June 8th.

The North American and the Brazilian team met in the 1-1 pool of Stage Two, and unfortunately for NA fans, FURIA were the better team.

Dust2 was going well for M80 as they won five in a row after losing the first pistol and anti-eco to FURIA. However, a huge Tec-9 round from Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis secured the bombsite A for FURIA, who gained momentum after that and won the first half by 7-5.

M80 fought hard to tie the game in the second half, but they simply couldn't move past FURIA's defense when it came to gun rounds, especially with Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo finding multikills like in the clip below.

Michael "Swisher" Schmid put on respectable 17 kills in the map, but it wasn't enough to carry M80 to the win.
