Following elimination from IEM Dallas, what has your team been up to since we last saw you?
We spent lots of time bootcamping in LA and we were scrimming every day from morning to night to prepare more for the Major.
So you didn't go all the way back to China after Dallas. Where were you bootcamping, have you just been scrimming in NA?
Yeah we've just been scrimming in NA and doing reflections. We didn't go bakc because most of the teams were staying in NA, so it's better scrim quality here.
You told me earlier you were bootcamping at Liquid's facility in LA. How did that come to pass? Did you just borrow it from them?
We contacted them first and they rented us part of the facility. We used it every day.
This has been a big month for you, IEM Dallas was your first S-tier event and now you're already at your first Major. Now that you're at your first Major, how do you feel about that achievement?
I feel very excited about it and our expectation for the Major is to get out of Stage 1.
Recently, we've seen China have an upswing in their performances, TYLOO has been doing very well in China against the Mongolian teams and other Asian teams. Lynn Vision has shown impressive growth from last year. A lot of fans will be looking to see if China is relevant again in CS. Does that put any pressure on your shoulders to be representing China?
Of course, there's some pressure because we have a huge number of followers, and they expect us to do better. We have to do our best to perform well, and we don't want to let our followers down, so there's some pressure.
What are your expectations for this event? Do you think you have what it takes to go to Stage 2 or beyond?
We expect TYLOO and ourselves to both make it to Stage 2. I think our followers also expect us to do that.
We haven't seen an Asian team aside from The MongolZ do well at the Major in some time. Do you think that speaks to the improvement in the Chinese scene?
The rise of both teams starting this year after the Shanghai Major because of team changes. For us, we spent more time together to build team chemistry.
Shortly after your elimination from IEM Dallas, we saw the opening matchups change due to BESTIA not securing their visas. So, now, you will be facing Legacy tomorrow, how are you feeling about that match?
We've been preparing for them. Of course, they are a strong team. Still, we expect ourselves to win against them.
Back in China, you don't get to play a lot of teams that do the European or Brazilian playstyle. You've been in NA these past couple of days. Have you had a chance to scrim any Brazilian teams to give yourselves some insight ahead of the match?
I don't think we scrimmed against any Brazilian teams, but we tried to get used to American or European teams, and we think we are in the right form to play against them.
Finally, how are you feeling about your own individual form ahead of your first Major?
I'm feeling good, I think I'm in good form right now.
