Daaku reform with new duo as Moneyball dissolves

Daaku are back together after an impressive showing the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #1.

Swedish player Simon "nomizz" Palm Niléhn has confirmed with Dust2.us the formation of a new lineup set to play together as Daaku three players from the former mixteam joined by two veteran NA talents. This new iteration of Daaku sees nomizz joined by Anton "dottie" Alevärn, Wyatt "Weeza" Sahrmann, Christopher "cJ dA K1nG" Jones, and Brody "BeaKie" Kelly.

According to nomizz this new roster took shape amidst the unannounced demise of the ex-Nouns Moneyball squad, which nomizz said collapsed only a few weeks after forming. With this, nomizz and dottie elected to reunite with Weeza while picking up cJ dA K1nG and BeaKie to round out the roster.

The original iteration of Daaku is most known for its time competing in the Dust2.us Eagle Master Series #1, where the squad notched upset wins over BLUEJAYS and Marsborne in the group stage being bested in a quarterfinals rematch against Marsborne.

This new team marks a return to action for cJ dA K1nG after he was replaced by Nouns at the end of 2024 as part of their shuffle. It also sees BeaKie back in the mix after last playing for undefined in mid 2024.

Daaku are now:

  • Sweden Simon "nomizz" Palm Niléhn

  • Sweden Anton "dottie" Alevärn

  • United States Wyatt "Weeza" Sahrmann

  • United States Christopher "cJ dA K1nG" Jones

  • Canada Brody "BeaKie" Kelly

Dust2.us reached out to Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore for comment on the ex-Nouns core's plan with Moneyball dissolving, however he did not respond ahead of publication.
