Lycus Empire lose Impact squad

The relationship seemingly broke down due to cultural issues in the organization.

On May 16th, Lycus Empire's ESL Impact roster, Nyx Empyre, announced their departure from the organization amidst an apparent breakdown in the relationship between the players and the organization.

In an X post announcing their departure, NYX made a declaration of support for the LGBTQ+ community apparently suggesting the organization failed to meet their expectations in that regard. Dust2.us reached out to NYX's coach, Ashlynn "Valkenn" Brady, who declined to comment on the matter ahead of publication.

In their sole outing in the ESL Impact League Season 7 NA division, Nyx Empyre finished in dead last with a 0-7 record, only winning one map during the season.
