bizinha approves the ongoing rivalry between FURIA and Imperial in the Impact scene

bizinha on FURIA fe's rivalry with Imperial Valkyries: "[It makes] more people watch the games"

The rivalry won't go anywhere after FURIA eliminated Imperial from the Impact Finals.

The ESL Impact League Season 7 Finals was a special tournament for Bruna "bizinha" Marvila and the rest of FURIA fe squad, as not only did they claim the trophy over Supernova Comets, but they also were the first team to interrupt Imperial Valkyries' dominance in the tournament.

Dust2.us' Editor-in-Chief got hold of bizinha after they knocked Imperial Valkyries out of the tournament and asked her about the rivalry between the two teams, her individual form this year, and more.

The full interview can be found below on YouTube, with key snippets underneath. All questions and answers below have been slightly edited for length and clarity. Also, bear in mind this interview was conducted before FURIA fe won the event over Supernova Comets.

This is the first time we've ever seen Imperial miss out on a finals, and it's all because of FURIA. You've got another win against them after beating them recently in Brazil, but does it feel to take them down here in Impact?

Well, we're so happy, but we think we were capable of winning since the beginning. Last year, we weren't so prepared like this year, so we think we are capable of winning, and that's it; we won.

I've heard there's some kind of rivalry between the two teams since you beat them in Rio at the end of 2024, maybe a conflict between the Brazilians and the Europeans. With that in mind, does it feel good to beat them and kind of defend Brazil again?

I think these things are a good thing because [it makes] more people watch the games, you know? So, that's it, I think it's a good thing to have this [rivalry] and to have more people watch it because of the history. That's so good.

You said you have a lot more viewers tuning into the FURIA games. How popular would you say your squad is in Brazil? Are you a big part of the FURIA brand there? Do you have a lot of fans who watch the women's team too?

Yes, they watch us when we have an event in Brazil, and they always cheer for us. We have the Desorganizada Furiosa [an organized fan group], and they support FURIA. They're amazing.

You're highly rated in HLTV, and you've had a great tournament overall thus far. How are you feeling about your individual form at this tournament?

I don't think I gave everything I could in the last ESL Impact Finals, and coming to this tournament, I was thinking about what I have to do and everything I have to give. I think I'm calmer now than the last Impact Finals, because I spent six, seven months in VALORANT. I have gained more experience in CS2 since then, and I'm more confident now. Having more confidence makes me feel calmer.
