Fisher College set to compete in European CCT tournament

Fisher College, a North American ESEA Advanced team featuring a core of European players, has accepted an invite to compete in the CCT Season 3 EU Series 2 Play-in, seeing the European-majority lineup compete in their first European event.

Fisher College recently placed 3rd-4th at the first Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series and 5th-8th at Fragadelphia Vegas, climbing 76 positions in the Valve Regional Standings as a result. The team are now ranked 96th in the VRS which was enough to lock in a Play-in invite in CCT's event.

Dust2.us has contacted the team to ask how they will play in the European event. Tommy "corn" Eckhart explained that the four European players are set to head home for summer break meaning they will be local while he is set to play the event from North America.

On the other side of the coin, this somewhat awkward arrangement means the four Europeans will be playing the remainder of ESEA Advanced Season 53 from Europe — an unavoidable complication of being a collegiate team.
