M80 had an uninspiring performance in PGL Astana 2025

s1n and dephh promise M80 will bounce back: "We will be ready for the Major"

M80 finished last place in PGL Astana 2025.

Elias "s1n" Stein and Rory "dephh" Jackson have spoken to fans following their early group stage exit from PGL Astana 2025, in which they were eliminated by G2 on May 12th.

s1n straight out calling M80's game "embarrassing", but he promised the team will show a better face at the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major in June. "

"Out of the PGL, couldn’t do justice to this amazing tournament here, our game is embarrassing on some maps," the German IGL wrote on X. "GL further to the brother malbsMd and G2, GGs. Sorry to every supporter of M80, we will be ready for the Major. Practice hard and get better for USA"

dephh, on the other hand, called their performance an "absolute horror show" and also promised they'll do better at the Major.

"Just an absolute horror show of a tournament from us," the head coach wrote on X. "We took a break for visa problems, but how we played is kinda inexcusable. One promise is that we will be better than we showed here at Austin."

M80 have been lackluster all year and are yet to reach the playoffs of an important tournament. Truth be told, their first months were tumultuous as Ethan "reck" Serrano broke his foot and missed the first tournaments.

All that is left for M80 now is practice until the BLAST.tv Austin Major starts as PGL Astana was their final event before the Major.

M80 will enter the Austin Major once Stage 2 kicks off on June 7th.
