Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2 VRS Invites revealed!

Dust2.us is excited to announce the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) invites for the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2! Twelve teams have answered the call to compete in our second VRS-ranked $10,000 event powered by INUI, with invites being based on the May 5th VRS update. These twelve teams will be joined by four teams from open qualifiers, with the first open qualifier starting tonight!

Taking a look at invites this time around, the top teams to accept an invite were BLUEJAYS and Getting Info, with the two squads returning to the Eagle Masters Series after making playoffs in the first series.

Beyond these two squads, changes in the VRS from our previous event has set the stage for a ton of teams to make their debut in the Eagle Masters Series, with anything else claiming a spot after finishing ESEA Advanced Season 52 in second place back in late March. Up next, Wanted Goons are a returning team from last season, however their ranking is bolstered by ESEA Advanced as well. They will be in good company as Tsunami are set to make their debut, with Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz's squad joining the event based on changes in the ranking since March.

As for Supernova Comets, they are the first of three ESL Impact squads set to play this event and are also making a return to the league after finishing last season's Swiss Stage with a 1-3 record.

Continuing down the list, Party Astronauts are going to finally make their long-awaited debut in the Eagle Masters Series now that their core is sorted out and the team finally have some VRS points under their belt. The next squad on the list, girl kissers, are the former Nouns.fe lineup, with the orgless squad set to compete in the Eagle Masters Series as they search for a new source of support.

The ninth invite, Marca Registrada, is quite exciting as they are the first Mexican squad to compete in our event series, with the team looking to make history and raise the flag high as one of Mexico's best teams in a long time.

Rounding out the invite list, MIGHT and SUPER EVIL GANG will be making their return to the Eagle Masters Series while our final invite, Ghost, will be our third and final Impact squad led by the experienced hand of Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido.

The first qualifier for the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #2 is set to go live tonight at 10:00PM, with the next three running on the following dates:

• Open Qualifier #2: May 17th

• Open Qualifier #3: May 24th

• Open Qualifier #4: May 31st
