A new Grand Slam race begins

ESL Grand Slam VI to kick off in IEM Dallas 2025

The NA tournament will be the first of four Grand Slam events in the remainder of 2025.

The ESL Grand Slam VI race will begin at the upcoming IEM Dallas 2025, ESL announced this Friday, May 9th.

This news comes in the aftermath of Vitality winning the fifth season of the ESL Grand Slam last month at IEM Melbourne.

Even though the Grand Slam is no longer sponsored by Intel and has been rebranded to ESL Grand Slam, the rules remain the same. The teams must win four eligible trophies in a window of ten events to claim the Grand Slam and its $1 million prize. And, at least one of these trophies must be IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne, or an ESL Major.

Before Vitality won the ESL Grand Slam, FaZe, Natus Vincere, Liquid, and Astralis won the prestigious competition series years ago in CS:GO.

The IEM Dallas, which will be played from May 19th to 25th, will be the first of four Grand Slam events organized by ESL until the end of the year. So, if a team manage to win all four events below, they'll win the ESL Grand Slam VI.

Here are all ESL Grand Slam events in the remainder of 2025:

  • United States IEM Dallas - May 19th to 25th

  • IEM Cologne - July 23th to August 3rd

  • Sweden ESL Pro League Season 22 - September 27th to October 1st

  • IEM Chengdu - November 3rd to 9th
