FalleN expects YEKINDAR to have an impact beyond the server

FalleN says YEKINDAR can help molodoy adapt to FURIA

YEKINDAR and molodoy speak the same language.

FURIA's in-game leader Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has explained to fans the organization's thought process behind the signing of Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis in a video released on April 23rd.

The Brazilian captain expects YEKINDAR to fulfill an aggressive role in the team and to also help out the Kazakh AWPer Danil "molodoy" Golubenko to adapt to FURIA, as they speak the same language.

This is what FalleN said in his message to FURIA fans:

YEKINDAR has a lot of knowledge of the game. He plays very forward, he does a similar role to what chelo did. One positive point about YEKINDAR is that he has already tried to be captain on some teams, so he brings knowledge and an ability to organize the steps he will take and an awareness of what the team can do as a whole.

He's from Latvia, and one of the languages he speaks is the same as molodoy, who is a player whose development we really believe in as FURIA's new AWPer, so having someone who speaks the same language at the beginning will be important for him to feel in a more relaxed environment.

As molodoy revealed himself in a video released by AMKAL, his former team, he's been studying English for the past two months. So, he'll most likely face some difficulties when it comes to talking to FalleN, Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato, and Yuri "yuurih" Boian.

YEKINDAR and molodoy will debut for FURIA on May 10th, when PGL Astana 2025 kicks off. Although FURIA qualified for the BLAST.tv Austin Major, they had lackluster performances across all tournaments played this year, which made the organization push for building an international team.
