EliGE owns a minority stake in Liquid

BLAST discloses conflict of interest at the Austin Major

EliGE, susp, and siuhy are among those who have a conflict of interest with another team.

BLAST has released on April 23rd the list of all conflicts of interest involving teams and players attending the Austin Major, following Valve's guidelines.

A total of seven players are listed as having a conflict of interest with another team: Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Tim "susp" Ångström, Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, Erik "ztr" Gustafsson, Andrei "arT" Piovezan, Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin, and Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi.

EliGE's conflict is with Liquid. The FaZe star owns a minority stake in Liquid (0.043%), which has been public since he left the organization in 2023 to join Complexity. Both Liquid and EliGE have pledged to make sure that "this conflict never impacts competition."

As for siuhy, he has been loaned to Liquid by MOUZ until the conclusion of the BLAST.tv Austin Major. The document says that MOUZ and siuhy are acting "entirely independent from each other" during this loan period, and that his "competitive decisions and behavior" during the Major will solely be in the best interest of Liquid.

susp shows up on this list of conflicts of interest because his former team, Metizport, will earn a "performance-based bonus" because Wildcard qualified for the Austin Major. Metizport will also earn a "percentage share of any future transfer fee" in the case Wildcard sells susp to another organization.

Metizport acknowledged that while these agreements may result in financial gain for them, it doesn't mean that they have any influence or direct control over "Wildcard’s competitive decisions".
