Bravado win WESG South Africa
Bravado have beaten Damage Control 3-0 in the WESG 2017 South Africa Grand Final and acquired a spot at the World Finals taking place in Haikou, Hainan, China in March. The final wasn't particularly close however, and the semi final before it against the second best team eNergy, was much closer.
The two main stars of the team, Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek and Johnny "JT" Theodosiou, were the main performers in both series, with JT racking up a 1.68 rating in the final against Damage Control.
The WESG World Finals, set to begin on March 12th, will include teams like the Ukraine mix, GODSENT, Space Soldiers, and Fnatic. The North American qualifier has yet to take place, and will include teams like SK, Cloud9, and FRENCH CANADIANS.
