Top-rated ESL Impact League S6 player admits to cheating in matchmaking

The player explicitly admitted they cheated "for fun" on their main account.

On February 2nd, a player reached out to Dust2.us claiming that ESL Impact player Jennifer "bored3m" Ivanova had cheated against his team in a recent Counter-Strike 2 Premier matchmaking game. The player claims that he faced bored3m on Dust2 on January 31st, alleging that she engaged in "full blatant wall hacking and aimbotting", sending multiple clips to Dust2.us that he believes are highly unusual.

These clips, which can be seen below, show a player named "swag" using the SSG 08 Scout and AWP to score multiple hits and kills through walls while also attempting to kill players with "wallbangs" through surfaces that cannot normally be penetrated by the Scout. The full demo of the match may be found here.

As part of our investigation, Dust2.us aimed to confirm the identity of "swag". By using the match's Leetify page, Dust2.us was able to connect "swag" to the following private Steam account and FACEIT profile, both named bored3m. Additionally, the FACEIT profile is a member of FLUFFY MAFIA's ESEA league page, a team bored3m previously played with in 2024.

As "swag"/bored3m's Steam profile is set to private, Dust2.us reached out to a former teammate of bored3m to verify if the accounts belongs to her, with the teammate confirming that the profile does in fact belong to bored3m.

Following this conversation, in a surprising turn of events, bored3m would reach out to the author of this report via their personal X account. She confirmed that she had cheated in matchmaking for "fun", while requesting that Dust2.us not post anything about the incident.

This is a request that Dust2.us is unable to honor due to our stance against cheating and other integrity violations. It is unknown what will come of this admission as cheating is a serious infraction in the esports space. Dust2.us will keep you updated regarding updates to this story.

I get you want content and stuff, but like... why do this to someone? Maybe they did this, maybe they didn't, but do you know what it does personally?... You gotta be better than this. We all live once. Once. Be better.

You are delusional. You can't even accept the fact that she is cheating, even after she openly admits it - LOL. Get a grip, dude. Why should she be cheated differently to other cheaters?

you know being 16 and a girl doesn't excuse you from being punished in real life too? actions have consequences

I mean we can argue about what a fair punishment might be, but covering up someone cheating will just encourage them to try it again (or make someone else think they can get away with it).

only a cheater would say something like this lmao.
imagine being selfish enough that you decide your 35 minutes of "fun" is worth ruining 5 other people's night. every 1 minute of "fun" costs 5 minutes of innocent people's time. that's not "yolo". that's being an entitled, selfish person. i couldn't care any less if their career is ruined; that's just karma.

Also, how about sharing who that person is? She's young. Why bully her? Share that persons name as well..... Don't be a bitch and try to tarnish something. This is why life is so hard.

Yeh true, journalists should just not report on people playing at a pro level who are cheating "because they are young". Who are you to call a journalist's livelihood into question for doing their job properly?
Also the "this is why life is so hard" comment is pathetic. Getting called out for cheating in a videogame is not a reason why life is so hard. Being young doesn't and shouldn't exonerate you from facing consequences as small as being banned from playing a game.

Dude, his is no different on reporting the other situations that happened. It's not a witch-hunt it's not slander just saying how it is, it's not controversial man feel free to feel bad but it happened. Dont shoot the messenger for telling you what happened if you have problem so much prevent people from cheating then. It's like unreal that have a problem with someone reporter news but not a problem them that a player in the scene is cheating just think about that
