Big Chillin announce new trio

Big Chillin hope for more stability ahead of ESEA Advanced Season 40.

Big Chillin have revealed their new roster that will be participating in ESEA Advanced Season 40. The squad will be built around Michael "Munk" Klotz and Devin "Xzen" Barber whose services have been retained despite being relegated from ESEA Premier last season.

The aforementioned duo will be joined by Sean "Subarashii" Tuttle, whose most recent notable adventure saw him on ONET4P’s books during ESEA Premier Season 38, which saw the squad retain their spot in the league. Hunter "Retnuh" Holm joins Munk and company from Michigan Tech's collegiate roster where he recently helped the Huskies reach ESEA Main Season 39 playoffs. Meanwhile, Johnny "JDubs" Wu finds himself a new home in relatively short order after officially departing ONET4P just one week ago where he posted a 1.05 rating across twenty-two maps in his two month tenure with the team.

Big Chillin's run in ESEA Premier Season 39 would prove to be disappointing. Marred by continuous departures, the squad had to field stand-ins for most of their matches, where the team ultimately went 1-7 in the regular season before being relegated at the hands of Detonate following a 2-1 defeat in the 15th-16th matchup.

Following the addition of the trio, Big Chillin are now:

  • United States Devin "Xzen" Barber
  • United States Michael "Munk" Klotz
  • United States Johnny "JDubs" Wu
  • United States Hunter "Retnuh" Holm
  • United States Sean "Subarashii" Tuttle
  • United States William "Aphotic" DeVoe (Coach)

Big Chillin recently participated in ESEA x Fragadelphia Winter Cash Cup 1 where they were dispatched of by Valors in a close 16-13 matchup. The team are also set to compete in ESEA Advanced Season 40 which is scheduled to begin on January 18th, 2022.
