Only days after leaving Levitate, the core has made a new squad

ex-Levitate core rebuilds to form Project Freelancer

The squad retains Levitate's ESEA Advanced Season 39 spot.

Devin "AtomiK" Ferrell has announced the lineup of his new roster on Twitter, featuring fellow ex-Levitate teammates J. "WOOHOO" J. and Saad "Pluto" Siraj, in addition to Dwight "Calix" Nguyen and Wayne "castro" Einarsson.

Following Levitate's failure to qualify for ESEA Premier Season 38 Relegation the team dissolved due to most players deciding to go their separate ways. It is known that AtomiK and Pluto were set to try out for Third Impact, whose roster would instead be filled by a trio of players with Premier experience. Ultimately while the two did not end up on Third Impact, they indeed have decided to stick together.

Initially WOOHOO was also said to be looking to play with Damian "droid" Boulware, with a plan to play with the slot of the now-defunct Big Chillin. In the end, WOOHOO instead has opted to stick with AtomiK and Pluto, thereby retaining their place in ESEA Advanced Season 39.

To fill the gaps, two players have been brought in, the first being Calix, a young gun who most recently played for Rectify in Advanced, and the other being castro, formerly of OCG. In addition to these two, the team has also brought on "Patton" as a substitute player.

With AtomiK, Pluto, and WOOHOO opting to remain together, they will retain Levitate's spot in ESEA Advanced Season 39, in which they have already begun competing under the name Project Freelancer.

Project Freelancer fields the following roster:

  • United States Devin "AtomiK" Ferrell
  • Saad "Pluto" Siraj
  • United States J. "WOOHOO" J.
  • Dwight "Calix" Nguyen
  • Canada Wayne "castro" Einarsson

Project Freelancer currently holds a 2-1 record in ESEA Advanced Season 39, and will be playing their next game of the season against YeniCherry on November 1st.
