Complexity trounce Alliance
Complexity have started their ESL Challenger Jönköping campaign with a strong win over the home squad of Alliance. The duel between the highest-rated team and the lowest-rated squad showed why the two teams are so far apart in the HLTV rankings.
With this win, Complexity just need one more Bo1 win in order to progress to playoffs. They will face the winner of ENCE v. MIBR next.
The map of choice was the most recent addition to the official map pool, Dust2. Complexity started on the CT-side but the very first round was won by Alliance, taking the lead for the first and last time because the North American squad bounced back with the force buy win and found themselves up 2-1 after just three rounds. The Swedes tied the game but that was the last time they would get on the board.
In a game where every Complexity player had 10+ kills and over 1.25 rating, North America's finest demolished the home squad with a 10-2 CT-side half, only to put the final nails in the coffin in the next three T-side rounds. Alliance couldn't ever reply back and Complexity took the 13-2 win.
Complexity will now face the winner of ENCE v. MIBR in a Bo1 match to see who advances to playoffs in the first place of Group B.
