M80 secure #1 Seed after wild final game | ECL S47 Roundup Day 36

It was an absolutely wild last night of competition with Wildcard and M80 earning the top two spots while Nouns and Party Astronauts ended up in third and forth, respectively. MIGHT ended up finishing at the bottom, meaning they have been sent down to Advanced while Limitless and One More will get their chance to battle it out in Relegation for a chance to save their spot for next season.

M80 1-1 Party Astronauts

M80 and Party Astronauts split their final series of the season, winning Ancient while losing Overpass. This was just enough for M80 to claim the regular season crown over Wildcard.

BOSS 1-1 Take Flyte

Like M80, all BOSS needed was that singular win over Take Flyte and they were able to secure a seventh-place finish in the league despite finishing on the same point total as Mythic and LAG. We're still trying to figure out the exact specifics of how all of that ended up, but it looks like LAG had the head to head win over Mythic, and BOSS had the head-to-head over LAG, so despite Mythic having the head-to-head over BOSS, they couldn't finishing above them? Who knows, but everyone's still in the playoffs.

Boy was that a close one. Wildcard needed both of those wins to keep them in the hunt for first, but ended up finishing second purely based on the round differential since they finished with even scores against M80. Regardless, it was a thrilling night as it all got closer and closer. Wildcard will hold the #2 seed in playoffs to be held later on.
