Eclipse disband

After opting out of playing Relegation, the team have gone their separate ways.

Dust2.us has learned that Eclipse have disbanded. The dissolution of the lineup comes after the squad dropped out of ESEA Premier Season 36 Relegation due to supposedly not being to field a five-man lineup out of their seven currently paid up players.

John "john" Bruyea told Dust2.us that the roster folded due to a variety of reasons including Damian "droid" Boulware heading to VALORANT, Robert "robby" Brown losing access to his computer due to moving, and numerous players becoming more busy with work.

In their final season of Premier, Eclipse were relatively underwhelming, with the team ending the regular season with just two wins against SKDC and Watch This. As a result, the team had to play pre-Relegation against Third Impact, falling to them 2-0 although it is worth noting they had to use "WOOHOO" and Nolan "bite" Hunstad as stand-ins.

Eclipse consisted of:

  • United States Matthew "nero" Seymour
  • United States Nick "zeptic" Kaoud
  • Canada John "john" Bruyea
  • United States Robert "robby" Brown

Despite Eclipse disbanding, there is a slim chance some constellation of former Eclipse players come together to play ESEA Advanced Season 37. Should they decide on this course of action, they will need to find five players before the registration deadline on April 28th.
