Chet steps down from NRG VALORANT; open to CS:GO return

The former Evil Geniuses coach is open to offers in both VALORANT and Counter-Strike.

Chet Singh, formerly known as "ImAPet" in his time coaching 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, and NRG in CS:GO, has announced that he has parted ways with NRG's VALORANT roster, and is once again open to coaching opportunities in both games.

Chet was a well-tenured coach in CS:GO, helping guide NRG to a 3-4th place finish at the StarLadder Berlin Major, and later, title wins at ESL One New York 2019 and StarSeries i-League Season 8 under the EG banner.

Before departing Counter-Strike, he spent five months as the coach of 100 Thieves, with their best result arriving at the end of his time with the Australian roster in ESL Pro League Season 12 North America, where they managed a runner-up finish to FURIA.

Since Chet joined NRG VALORANT in October 2020, the team has struggled to find consistent results, enduring numerous roster changes and only managing one first place finish in Nerd Street Gamers' December Monthly event. The team also managed to qualify for VCT North America Stage 1 Challengers 3, where they picked up an opening win over 100 Thieves, but were eliminated shortly afterward following losses to FaZe and Gen.G to exit the tournament in 5-6th place.
