Rise replace kber with sherps

The team have swapped one player as they prepare for their second season of Premier.

Rise have replaced Edward "kber" Vaudry with Richie "sherps" Sherpa, with the latter player linking up with the team after a poor season with ImPerium.

This change comes after Rise had a strong debut season in ESEA Premier Season 36, narrowly missing out on playoffs after a 5-4 regular season. During the season, kber was the team's standout player, putting up a 1.12 rating over ten maps. Regardless of their success, kber told Dust2.us that the two parties decided not to continue due to "unresolvable disagreements" in the team.

His replacement, sherps, links up with Rise as the highest rated player on ImPerium's lineup. He posted a 1.09 rating over 22 maps despite ImPerium finishing the season with a 1-8 record.

In their debut with sherps, Rise were surprisingly eliminated in the Mythic Spring Cup qualifier by collegiate squad VCU. More recently, the team failed to make it to day two of ESEA Spring Cash Cup 3 after being bested by Advanced mixteam Dino Nuggies.

Rise is now:

  • United States Cody "Domorin" Lutzel
  • United States Aidan "Aidan" Higgason
  • Filip "Feedalee" Mitevski
  • United States Kevin "consti" Yi
  • United States Richie "sherps" Sherpa
  •  Szymon "LAJT" Jaworski (Coach)
  • Canada Taylor "ioRascal" Hays (Analyst)

Rise await the start of ESEA Premier Season 37 in a little less than a month on May 4th. Prior to that, sherps will make his final appearance with ImPerium as they fight for their Premier spot in ESEA Premier Season 36 Relegation.
