CarbonX return with Xiaoma signing

CarbonX has returned to activity after previously ceasing operations in 2021.

American esports organization CarbonX have resumed operations with the signing of Xiaoma on April 5th, marking the organization's return after ceasing operations back in 2021. The brand was recently revived by LCA Broadcasting owner Christopher "Wearwolf" Wear, who was involved with the organization in its first iteration.

The signing of Xiaoma follows a successful period for the roster, with the squad finishing ESEA Advanced Season 48 in 5th-6th while also claiming a top-four finish at Fragadelphia CS/DO.

Heading into Season 49, CarbonX have enlisted the services of Kiwi-American player Aidan "Feral" Wood as a replacement for Mark "merkn" Telesca, who stepped down from the roster on March 19th due to other commitments. CarbonX is Feral's first team in eleven months, having last played for BHOP in ESL Challenger League Season 45.

The team is also joined by coach Byron "mst" Masterson. mst was last spotted working with kariESPORTS as an analyst in ESL Challenger League Season 46 before the team disbanded due to roster troubles.

CarbonX will debut against Brazilian squad E-Xolos LAZER on April 10th at 09:49PM.
