Jame's PC did not agree with him today

PC crash propels G2 to playoffs

The round everyone is talking about.

It seemed like everything towards the end of the map was going VP's way. They had control of the bombsite, and the time was ticking down. Then suddenly, Dzhami "Jame" Ali drifted right out into the open, where he was visible from CT.

The AWPer was killed and VP were suddenly on the backfoot as G2 won the crucial round at 11-11 to take the lead at 12-11 before closing out Inferno 13-11. It is impossible to say whether or not VP would have won the round with Jame alive, but his sudden death definitely impacted the team's ability to hold the bombsite.

Due to the fact that damage was incurred during the round, it would go against the rules for admins to restart the round from the beginning or even replay the game.

PGL blames the crash not on the PC, but a NVDIA driver. "A technical malfunction occurred due to an NVIDIA driver crash, resulting in a game crash. We are continuing our investigation into the matter" the tournament operator said in a post following the conclusion of the match.

With the final map going to Anubis, G2 were able to take a strong 7-1 lead before eventually closing out the map 13-6.
