shutout to miss start of ECL Week 4 after account breach

shutout has lost access to his account after a security breach.

Take Flyte player Cory "shutout" Frymark has lost access to his Steam account after someone from Russia attempted to gain access on Sunday. As a result, he is unable to use the account or access it while a support ticket slowly works its way through Valve's notoriously slow support system.

To make matter even worse, shutout will be unable to compete for Take Flyte in ESL Challenger League Season 47 or any competitions on FACEIT until the matter is resolved, owing to FACEIT's policies on players having more than one account.

As a result, shutout is now forced to watch his team compete from the sidelines, with the team set to have two fixtures this week against Party Astronauts and LAG. Fortunately for Take Flyte, they won't have to forfeit the matches outright due to having former LAG player Santiago "X-23" Alvarez registered as a substitute.

As such, they will head into tonight's matches with the following:

  • United States John "mds" Marin

  • United States Gabriel "Gabe" Shah

  • United States Collin "CoJoMo" Moren

  • Canada Brody "BeaKie" Kelly

  • United States Santiago "X-23" Alvarez (Stand-in)

  • United States Mark "CooperTrooper" Cooper (Coach)

Hopefully these will be the only matches shutout will need to miss, however with the situation fully out of his hands he will need to hope Valve act quickly to restore access.
