Legend Series North America LAN still a LAN
The North American LAN, which granted two spots at Legends Cup, had planned to be moved online after some of the teams and players set to participate had trouble acquiring money to travel to the event, Dust2.us has learned. The spots available at the Legends Cup and the prize pool of $3,000 would stay the same.
This however has changed again and the event will indeed be a LAN at the Esports Arena in Santa Ana, California. The LAN is set to take place on January 7th, and will offer the same rewards as before.
Dust2.us has also learned of the format for the event, with a double elimination bracket being used. The winner's bracket will be best of three, while the loser's bracket will be best of one. The loser's final will be a best of three and the grand final will be a best of five with a one map advantage given to the team from the upper bracket.
