BLAST Premier Fall Final roster lock is in a few days

Is this why teams are moving?

Natus Vincere, Cloud9, Heroic, Liquid, and more are all in the news in the last few days as roster season has come into full swing. Many of the world's top teams are reportedly changing their lineups, with massive announcements made within the previous 72 hours.

All these moves seem to be happening quite fast, however, there is one cutoff date rapidly approaching that might be encouraging some teams to make the tough decision.

As per BLAST Premier rules, any teams participating in the group stage must submit their roster three weeks before the start of the event. The first games for the BLAST Premier Fall Final beginning on November 22nd would put the roster lock on October 31st.

BLAST requires that teams submit a lineup of five players, two substitute players, and a coach, who may be used as an extra substitute if needed.

Despite numerous rumors surrounding Liquid, they aren't exactly beholden to these rules after failing to qualify for the event out of the BLAST Premier Fall Americas Showdown where they lost to Complexity.

Speaking of Complexity, they are shockingly one of the few top teams not subject to any transfer rumors or reports. Thanks to an incredible run at IEM Sydney, the team has performed the best in recent years and is poised to continue that trend with the rest of the scene in disarray.

If a team fails to submit their roster on time, they will be considered the lower seed in all matchups. Should multiple teams fail to submit their submitted roster at the deadline, they will be placed in the "Missed Deadline Pool" and will always be considered the lowest seed.
