Super Nova, Rise, and Precision initiate off-season shuffle

Precision have made the largest change of the trio, swapping out three of their former players.

With ESEA Advanced Season 33 playoffs set to come to a close tonight, Super Nova, Rise, and Precision have made changes to their lineups after the three teams failed to finish at the top of the division.

Starting with Super Nova, coach Michael "nart" Tran left the team this week.

The move comes after Super Nova ended playoffs in 13th-16th place after dropping series to Rise and Prospects.

As such, Super Nova are now:

  • United States Rahmin "ShoukR" Shoukoohi
  • United States Quintin "dolphy" Madsen
  • Canada Adam "Ange" Milian
  • United States Jacob "L0NER" Webster
  • United States Khizar "MoMo" Rehman
  • United States Derek "dVeeN" Vander Veen
  • United States "Eric" (Substitute)

Additionally, Derek "dVeeN" Vander Veen may be on the way out as he has tweeted about looking at his options for next season.

Next up, Rise have parted ways with Alec "halo" Sacry and Kevin "consti" Yi after also falling short of MDL Relegation. Rise fared slightly better than Super Nova in playoffs, winning three series before bested by Serac in the lower bracket.

With this change, Rise are now:

  • United States Cody "Domorin" Lutzel
  • United States Ken "krotomo" Otomo
  • United States Chris "duck" Dutoit
  • United States Josh "shinobi" Abastado (Coach)

As the team look for a new duo ahead of Season 34, they will be aided in their search by Josh "shinobi" Abastado who has been contracted as Rise's coach until July 1st, Dust2.us has learned.

The final notable change this week involves Precision as they have completely overhauled their roster after finishing playoffs with a 0-2 record following losses to Polar Ace and PDHM.

Coming in to replace Ian "kriks" Orfila, Anthony "exempt-_0" Arduino, and Robert "Stylin" Johnson are Nolan "Temperature" Pepper, Bilal "SPAMMER" Ali, and Paul "aris" Wilson.

Temperature joins the team after playing out Season 33 with Soham "valens" Chowdhury's Savage, while aris joins from Brazen, with that squad failing to make playoffs after a 6-10 season. As for SPAMMER this marks his return to activity after leaving Clarity in early February.

With three new players, Precision's roster is now:

  • United States Jorge "xCore" Barreda
  • United States Brenden "Reptar" O'Neill
  • United States Nolan "Temperature" Pepper
  • United States Bilal "SPAMMER" Ali
  • Canada Paul "aris" Wilson
  • United States Max "TR1LL-" Kesselhaut (Coach)
