Faint fall to blood, sweat, and tears in Advanced playoffs consolidation final
blood, sweat, and tears have taken down Faint to earn a spot against Buffdaddy's PayPal Team in the grand finals of ESEA Advanced Season 33, claiming wins on Overpass and Nuke.
Daniel "v1king" Martin — or rather, Zack "XotiC" Elshani — led the way in K-D for the series for the former Polar Ace squad, but on Overpass it was Ryan "shanks" Ngo who topped the board. Faint were left utilizing a stand-in after Ian "battery" Yates had internet issues as the match got underway, leading to Aaron "Aaron" Thao stepping in for the majority of the series.
After starting their pick of Overpass down 1-3, blood, sweat, and tears only conceded two additional rounds in the half as ran over Faint's defenses to claim a 10-5 lead. Faint's luck did not improve in the second half as they dropped the second pistol, allowing shanks and company to close out the map 16-7.
A similiar scenario unfolded on Nuke as Faint initially posted a 5-1 lead, but were unable to maintain control as blood, sweat, and tears fought back to gain the upper hand 9-6 at the break. Another pistol win helped blood, sweat, and tears further extend their lead by four rounds, with the team closing out the series a handful of rounds later, 16-12.
