Liquid's schedule is now clear for changes to be made

Report: Liquid pull out of Thunderpick World Championship 2023

With an uncertain roster, Liquid have exited the online event.

Amidst rumors of multiple roster changes coming to Liquid, Dust2.us understands from multiple sources that Liquid have dropped out of the Thunderpick World Championship 2023. The online European event, which is set to run from October 27th to November 5th, recently invited Liquid and FURIA as the marquee teams from the Americas alongside Wildcard, M80, Complexity, and Nouns.

Liquid's decision to drop out of the online event comes as Liquid currently do not have a complete roster less than a week before the start of the event. With Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov on the bench, Robert "Patsi" Isyanov reportedly on the way there, and Casper "cadiaN" Møller weighing a move to Liquid, the team is in a state of flux and will need to delay their debut in Counter-Strike 2.

With Liquid electing to sit out the Thunderpick World Championship, their schedule is now open until next year when BLAST Spring Group is scheduled to start. While they will certainly be invited to more events before then, the extra breathing room will certainly help the American-Dutch organization as they look towards the future after a disappointing initial transition into a European core.
