xCeeD and Grim have parted ways with Triumph

xCeeD and Grim leave Triumph

The MDL team find themselves two players short on the eve of Season 33.

Jack "xCeeD" Holiman and Michael "Grim" Wince have both left Triumph's ESEA roster, with the former telling Dust2.us that he is "looking at [his] options", and the latter that he will be playing the B Site qualifiers with an unidentified team.

The duo follow in the footsteps of former coach Matthew "mCe" Elmore, who departed their roster three days ago.

These are just the latest blows for the team after the contraction of ESL Pro League from a total of 48 to 24 teams. As a result, Triumph were not offered a chance to participate in Relegation after finishing MDL Season 32 in third place, and are now forced with the prospect of playing another season.

As of now, it seems that the remainder of the team intend to stay together, though it is not known if it will be under the Triumph banner.

For now, Triumph are:

  • United States Logan "Voltage" Long
  • United States Gabe "Spongey" Greiner
  • United States Ryan "Snakes" Amann

The team will have to move fast, as MDL Season 33 officially kicks off tonight.

Dust2 Birthday cake!
Really liked this team. It's unfortunate how everything with ESL/ESEA unfolded.
