Triumph have acquired the former players of The Quest one week prior to their LAN debut at DreamHack Open Atlanta. The organization recently dropped their ESEA Advanced team after they were knocked out of playoff contention, giving them the opportunity to scope out a new squad.

The announcement comes just under 11 months after the team was first assembled around the former SoaR core of Matthew “mCe” Elmore, Logan “Voltage” Long, and Jack “xCeeD” Holiman, with mCe having since transitioned into the role of coach. Since forming, the roster has encountered a small amount of success, with their most notable achievement seeing them eliminate Cloud9 from the Closed Qualifier for the StarLadder Berlin Minor back in June.

The American squad also secured themselves a high seed in the ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup, allowing them to participate in matches during the regular season. More recently, the team earned one of the two spots for DreamHack Open Atlanta that were up for grabs through the closed qualifier by defeating Riot Squad 2-0, earning themselves a trip to the Georgia World Congress Centre.

Triumph are now:

  • United States Logan “Voltage” Long
  • United States Jack “xCeeD” Holiman
  • United States Gabe “Spongey” Greiner
  • United States Ryan “Snakes” Amann
  • United States Micheal “Grim” Wince
  • United States Matthew “mCe” Elmore (Coach)

Triumph are currently set to participate in three events in the coming weeks, with their LAN appearance at DreamHack Open Atlanta being accompanied by the aforementioned MDL playoffs and the Invite division of WINNERS League Season 3.
