NEKIZ is set to return to North America with paiN

paiN announce impending North America move

The Brazilian squad are looking to follow in the footsteps of teams such as oNe and FURIA.

paiN announced earlier today that the organization's CS:GO squad will be moving to Canada and participating in North American events. In an attached video, coach Bruno "bruno" Ono specified that the move will most likely occur in April.

The squad are currently the number five team in Brazil according to HLTV, and recently qualified for the WESG 2019 Brazil LAN Finals.

The majority of the team are not strangers to spending time in North America, with Vinícios "PKL" Coelho and Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato both having done multiple-year stints with Luminosity, and Paulo "land1n" Felipe spending time with Tempo Storm.

paiN are:

  • Brazil Vinícios "PKL" Coelho
  • Brazil Paulo "land1n" Felipe
  • Brazil Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt
  • Brazil Wesley "hardzao" Lopes
  • Brazil Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato
  • Brazil Bruno "bruno" Ono (Coach)

Should the team's move indeed take place in April, they would arrive in Canada in time for the start of ESEA Season 34. Pending earning a place in a higher division via a preseason qualifier, they would presumably start the climb up from Open, as oNe and FURIA have done before them.
