Second IEM Sydney Open Qualifier begins today

With the first of the two IEM Sydney 2023 North American Open Qualifiers completed and M80 taking the 3rd spot in the Closed Qualifier, North American teams will once again get another bite at the apple.

Evil Geniuses, who painfully went down in the Grand Final 1-2, will be looking to make another run in the qualifier and hope to get revenge on M80 in two weeks' time.

Accompanying Evil Geniuses in this qualifier will be other top North American teams like Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's Forsaken, Joshua "steel" Nissan's Bad News Bears, and others like Wildcard, FlyQuest Red, and Party Astronauts.

For Nouns and Complexity, they will be waiting to see who their competition is for a spot to head to IEM Sydney 2023. Both teams were invited to the Closed Qualifier as they were the highest ranked North American teams according to the ESL World Ranking.

Games will once again start at 06:00PM with registration ending at 05:00PM.
