Recently promoted ESL Challenger League team the jungle, formerly Torch, made one final change to their lineup ahead of the start of ESL Challenger League Season 46. The team elected to part ways with Canadian rifler Matthew "scar" Bruni on August 1st, while bringing in Austin "AJaxz" Janocha on August 6th. It is the second such change for the team since Season 45 Relegation, which saw the team replace their coach, allyhub, for Mark "CooperTrooper" Cooper on July 17th.
scar told Dust2.us that the jungle elected to part ways with him due to role clashes, other team issues, but wanted to emphasize that he had nothing but love for his former teammates. scar had been a part of Torch since July, coming in as a replacement for Ajaxz, who has now found his way back onto the roster.
Despite finishing Season 45 Relegation in 5th-6th place, the jungle found themselves promoted into ECL thanks to Brazilian squads paiN and MIBR pulling out of the division to focus their efforts elsewhere.
