Report: TSM pull out of CCT Finals

The European roster's debut has been pushed back for now.

Dust2.us has confirmed with sources within the team that TSM have pulled out of CCT Online Finals #2 ahead of the start of the event on August 2nd. The decision sees the American organization push back their debut with their European roster after a lengthy road on their return to CS:GO.

Dust2.us understands that the decision to opt out of the $200,000 online tournament came down to TSM's desire to prioritize the qualifiers for IEM Sydney 2023, which is ESL's next big LAN after ESL Pro League Season 18. As TSM are a non-partner and a completely new roster, they will likely need to through the grueling European Qualifier which will see eight teams fight for one of two spots via the closed qualifier.

The first open qualifier is set to start on August 9th, which means the community won't have to wait long to see TSM debut. However, it is worth noting the team have yet to sign up, though it could be construed as one last effort to obscure their oft-leaked roster.

Speaking of that, as a reminder TSM's roster is set to consist of:

  • Timofey "interz" Yakushin

  • Audric "JACKZ" Jug

  • Cai "CYPHER" Watson

  • Denmark Valdemar "valde" Vangså

  • Mădălin-Andrei "MoDo" Mirea

  • Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam (Coach)
