Bad News Bears and ex-Snakes Den take second ESEA Pre-Season Circuit qualifier

steel and Jonji's new roster hit the ground running in their first outing.

The new Bad News Bears lineup and McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison's ex-Snakes Den have won the second ESEA Pre-Season Circuit qualifier, joining the likes of Rugratz and timbermen in the $20,000 event.

This iteration of the qualifier featured a slightly diminished 36 teams, with notable teams this time around including Bad News Bears, ex-Snakes Den, Forsaken, Mythic, and Party Astronauts. Of all the sides in the event, Bad News Bears probably had the most attention as it featured Joshua "steel" Nissan playing his first event in nearly three years. Additionally, this event also marked the debut of Forsaken, with Matt "Warden" Dickens making his own return from VALORANT.

In the bracket, Bad News Bears managed a very strong showing in their debut, taking down Mythic 16-9 and Peter "stansiaw" Jarguz's Forsaken 16-12 to lock in their spot in the main event. On the other side of the bracket, ex-Snakes Den pulled off quite an interesting upset after besting Hound 16-6, with Cyrix and co. smashing Party Astronauts 16-6 on Inferno to book their own ticket into the main event.

With the second qualifier completed, the team list now looks as follows:

United States Rugratz
timbermen

Bad News Bears
United States ex-Snakes Den

At the time of publication, the third qualifier has already taken place, with the fourth qualifier cup set to start on July 20th.
