NEX steps down from ex-Ascent
The former player will be focusing his coaching talents on his newly-born progeny.
ex-Ascent coach Justin "NEX" McLellan has announced that he will no longer be coaching the team following the birth of his son earlier in the month.
The MDL side are coming off of a 7-8th finish in MDL Season 32, which was cut short by losses to Ben's Anime Team and Rugratz in the playoffs. Prior to that, they reached the quarterfinals of the open qualifier for DreamHack Open Atlanta before a loss to Riot Squad.
ex-Ascent are now:
Marc-Andre "NiSMO" Tayar
Jonathan "djay" Dallal
Lucas "Fiziq" Blow
Brandon "BOOBIE" Roberts
Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue
Moving on without a coach for the time being, the team remain on the lookout for an organization, and are currently 2-2 in WINNERS League Season 3 Invite.
