PwnAlone looks to find a new home after leaving Party Astronauts

Ascent add PwnAlone, Just Swing take on maazy and bring back Slash

The MDL sides look to bolster their rosters ahead of the final stretches of the main season.

Ascent have added Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue to their ESEA roster, with the veteran set to serve as a replacement for the recently departed Joshua "KiiroKami" Kim, Dust2.us has learned.

PwnAlone was last seen playing with ex-Singularity in ECS Season 8, although it seems to have been a more temporary setup for the organization before Singularity went on to pick up New Identity. Before that, he played in Party Astronauts, who finished fourth in MDL Season 31.

As a result, Ascent's new roster is as follows:

  • Canada Marc-Andre "NiSMO" Tayar
  • Canada Jonathan "djay" Dallal
  • United States Lucas "Fiziq" Blow
  • United States Brandon "BOOBIE" Roberts
  • United States Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue
  • United States Justin "NEX" McLellan (Coach)

As for Just Swing, Carlos "maazy" Bandle and Chris "Slash" Petersen have been added to fill the spots left by Ryan "Winsum" Johns and Matthew "nero" Seymour.

Slash was previously on Just Swing, but was removed before the start of MDL Season 32, and has spent the last month with Reign in Advanced before making the move back to MDL. maazy last played on Jared "MAC-1" Schneider's Gorilla Gang, before being removed for Aleksandar "ALEKSANDAR" Hinojosa.

With these moves, Just Swing look as follows:

  • United States Joel "jcrueL" Cruel
  • United States Tommy "Axed" Ryan
  • Canada Adam "Ange" Milian
  • United States Chris "Slash" Petersen
  • United States Carlos "maazy" Bandle

Just Swing have played five matches in MDL so far, and have yet to win one. While not scheduled yet, they still will need to face the likes of MAC-51, The Quest, and Riot Squad as they fight to avoid relegation.

Should change its name from Just Swing to Just Dead. Picking up Advanced players who were already kicked - that's a recipe for failure.
