The Royal Arena will host the first CS2 Major

Tickets for First CS2 Major to go on sale next week

Despite not taking place until next year, the hype is already building for the first Major on the new game.

On March 28th of this year, PGL announced that they would have the honor of hosting the first ever CS2 Major set to take place in Copenhagen in March 2024. Now they have revealed more information for the event, with the announcement that tickets will be on sale on ticketmaster.dk from 10:00 AM CET on the 26th of June, just seven days away.

The event will be taking place in the Royal Arena, a venue that has been frequented by the CS:GO circuit in recent years with it being a home for BLAST events in particular including this year's BLAST Fall Finals set to take place in November. It is the first time a Counter-Strike Major has visited Denmark, despite it being one of the most historically successful nations in the game.

PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 will take place March 17-31, 2024 which means the ticket sale is going live nearly a year before the event is set to start. There is a lot of unanswered questions as the scene looks to transition to the new title and this no doubt influenced Valve's decision to only have one Major this year, won by Vitality in Paris.
