FlyQuest RED return to Advanced after 7 season hiatus

As normal calendars get close to July, ESEA Counter-Strike calendars get close to the season's end. ESL Challenger League ended two weeks ago, ESEA Advanced ended just four days ago, ECL Relegation is still running and ESEA Main has found its promoted teams for the season.

After falling to the lower bracket in the second game of playoffs, FlyQuest RED managed an incredible run through the lower bracket to secure their presence in ESEA Advanced Season 46, alongside Miami Flamingos, Hite, DoomGG, Pvntsu, Noxious, GlockWork, and PissGem.

From the squad that first reached Advanced, in Season 28, with the RED name attached to it, no player remains with the team, as Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie only joined for the last four games of the season, but since then, the IGL has been a constant figure of the squad. This was in November of 2018.

GooseBreeder and CLG Red spent some time in Advanced from Seasons 28 to 38, with a couple of seasons in between playing in Main. Ever since then, the then-CLG Red team has undergone big roster changes, adding non-American talent. This new-look squad had never reached Advanced, until yesterday, now under the FlyQuest Red banner.

This season didn't get off to a great start for FlyQuest RED, as three of their four losses came in the first four games, but the team turned things around and ended the regular season with a 10-4 record. Their playoff run started with a win, but then a loss against GlockWork sent Red to the lower bracket, where they delivered great performances and are now promoted to ESEA Advanced for its 46th season.

ESEA Main's playoffs aren't finished just yet. Despite the promoted teams having all been found, there's still the prize money to fight for, as the eight promoted rosters are now fighting for the $10,000 prize pool.
