How will OG's lineup look in three months?

niko on his future: "I'm up for anything"

OG sit one game away from playoffs.

niko's OG had a victorious second day at IEM Dallas, eliminating 9z from the American competition after two back and forth maps. With that match out of the way, OG are only one win against MOUZ away from playing in front of a roaring crowd. By the same flip of the coin though, OG are only one loss against MOUZ away from flying home with yet another missed playoff opportunity.

After the victory of 9z, Dust2.us' Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore caught up with the Danish IGL to discuss how his team came up on top and his future in Counter-Strike.

Please note that the full interview can be found below on YouTube, while the transcript has some key snippets from their conversation.

How does it feel to take down 9z in such a close fashion?

It feels good. We need some confidence again, and this will help. The first map was a little rough. Good start but then we threw a few rounds. Then we did what we worked on and what we talked about, and from there it was perfect.

OG are one series away from making playoffs now. You only need to beat MOUZ tomorrow. How would it feel to make playoffs after a rough couple months with the team?

It would mean a lot. I don't think it's been that bad, to be honest, since I've joined again. The Rio one, we had our chances to make playoffs, and the Major, we were pretty happy to just make it. So, I don't think we played that poorly, but of course we wanted more at the Major.

We've learned that you were only contracted until the Major as a stand-in, but OG and the team liked your calling enough to extend you to this event as well. What does the future hold for niko?

To be honest, I have no idea. I don't know if I'm going to keep IGLing or go back to my supportive roles. I actually just don't know. I'm up for anything, to be honest.
