Grim won't be too worried about the competition

Complexity handed easier group at Melbourne

The North American squad should be heavily favoured to make it out of their Group.

Groups for ESL Challenger Melbourne 2023 have been revealed, with Complexity being grouped with fellow North American side Evil Geniuses Black and hometown heroes Grayhound.

Rounding out the group is Danish side Ecstatic, who beat out the now-defunct HONORIS to qualify in the European qualifier.

In the opposite group, invited team and Major legends Bad News Eagles will compete against Rare Atom and Australian side VERTEX. This group would have also had TheMongolz, but the Mongolian side has now withdrawn, being replaced by Movistar Riders.

Complexity are hoping to make a splash at next weekend's event, with only a few days separating their Australian before heading to Paris to compete in their second Major with this core of players. Evil Geniuses Black are also hoping to make a mark on the event, after upsetting ATK to qualify for the event.

Complexity will likely be using this event as additional preparation for the BLAST.tv Paris Major which begins on May 8th, where they will face off against GamerLegion. The squad could use a win to help raise their confidence ahead of what is the the final CS:GO Major of the game, before Valve forces the switch to Counter-Strike 2 this summer.
