jdm64's potential return could bring another veteran back to NA CS

jdm64 contemplates CS return

The one-time Major finalist has hinted that he might be preparing to hop back in the server.

After three years away, and a stint in VALORANT for FaZe as a Head Coach, Josh "jdm64" Marzano has recently been dropping hints that a return to Counter-Strike might be on the horizon.

In a message to Dust2.us, the former Liquid AWPer confirmed he was thinking about a return, whilst admitting he has a lot of work to do to get ready after three years away. The thoughts seem to have been spurred on by the impending release of Valve's new version of Counter-Strike, CS2 with the player posting tweets eluding to him making a comeback.

Since that tweet and being given beta access for CS2, jdm64 has been regularly streaming himself playing both versions of the game on Twitch, as he adjusts back to the Counter-Strike world. The former AWPer is a wealth of knowledge and experience, meaning he could be a major help for young players in a NA scene that currently lacks veterans in the domestic space.

Whilst its unlikely the lounge king will return straight back to top-tier competition instantly, he could follow the path of fellow recent returnee Noah "Nifty" Francis, in surrounding himself with some bright young talent at the ECL/top Advanced level and build upwards from there.

his contemplation shows that he isn't going to enjoy this commitment and he definitely won't reach any sort of high tier in cs again,
if he really wanted to come back, he would be playing by now
