ATK have a chance to get revenge in the best way after beating EG Black

ATK best EG Black to secure ECL S44 finals matchup

A swift 2-0 puts ATK in position to enact revenge against MIBR in the finals.

ATK found success in their second playoff matchup against EG Black this season, winning in two maps this time around thanks to back to back 16-10 efforts. Their defense was far too much for EG Black to penetrate on either map, as ATK limited them to just five T-side rounds across the two maps en route to victory.

The series kicked off on EG Black's pick of Overpass, but it was all ATK to start. It wasn't until round five when EG Black were able to get on the board. Once the map began looking competitive at 5-3, ATK ran away on the CT-side with seven-straight rounds to win the half 12-3. EG Black gave their best defensive effort in the second-half to make it a game, but ATK closed it out at a 16-10 scoreline.

On ATK's Mirage pick, EG Black looked to make it a competitive map after a strong defensive showing. Five-straight rounds after losing pistol was the highlight of their 8-7 first-half for EG Black, and would soon serve as the last highlight for their series. Winning the first two rounds of the second half gave hope for a competitive second map, but ATK swept those thoughts away with nine straight defensive rounds to quickly hit 16.

Jonathan 'djay' Dallal did his fair share of getting his team through with the 2-0, closing the series second on his team in frags and even ending Overpass tied wish Swisher in frags.

Following their 2-0 victory over EG Black, ATK will meet MIBR in the ESL Challenger League S44 finals later tonight at 08:00PM.
