Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test game leaked online, allegedly

It's only been two days, but somehow, somewhere, you can actually download the limited test.

Counter-Strike 2 has been the hot topic the last few days with many searching (and slightly begging) Valve to let them into the playtest. The developer has also been the subject of criticism for not prioritizing professional players, top content creators, or journalists covering the game in giving them access ahead of what are essentially random players.

Regardless, many within the community are currently playing, and it now appears that others can do as the game has allegedly been leaked through a torrent just days after it was officially announced.

In a tweet from Artie Yamamoto, the torrent shows a size of 18.92gb and a total of 2662 files which includes the cs2.exe file.

The validity of the file is verified via Valve digital signature on the file.

Yamamoto also allegedly playtested the game, however, it's hard to tell if this is actually part of the beta access or if it is the torrented version of the game. Dust2.us has not been able to verify the torrent at this time. Additionally, some users in replies to Yamamoto have expressed frustration and difficulty in playing the game.

It is important to note that this is not the full version of Counter-Strike 2, which is scheduled to come later this summer. The torrent also does not contain any portion of multiplayer access as Yamamoto explained they had to operate the game within Goldberg Steam Emulator.
