Analyst puts bounty on EG

The former 100 Thieves coach has taken his criticism of EG to the next level as he put out a bounty on their heads.

Evil Geniuses have not been short on critics over the past few months and after bombing out of IEM Katowice, CCT North Europe, and even failing to make it through the IEM Rio 2023 Open Qualifier the team has done little to silence those critics.

One of the industry figures spearheading this criticism has been former coach, turned analyst, Aleksandar "Kassad" Trifunovic consistently voicing his derogatory opinions on the team and organization on Twitter. His disdain for the team has even gone so far as getting himself involved in a skit at IEM Katowice that was centered on his criticism of the NA side.

Now, Kassad has taken things even further, as he once again took to Twitter, this time the former coach decided to offer $1,000 to the team that knocks EG out of the North America RMR Closed Qualifier. This was after EG suffered a shock upset in their opening matchup in the tournament, an overtime loss to the ECL mix yur.

Despite this disappointment, the team recovered to ease past Collin 'CoJoMo' Moren's REIGN 16-8. It is worth noting however that REIGN are a 3-6 Advanced team and far below the level that EG will want to be contesting. The EG squad's next match will be against Vendetta, in the 1-1 pool, and it should be a significantly tougher test.
