Liquid qualifies for Abu Dhabi!

Despite a disappointing finish for the Americans in Denmark, they will be able to travel across the world in December.

Don't say it's over until it's over. With the door looking like it was about to be slammed in their face, Liquid get lucky as FaZe Clan come from a map down to eliminate NIP from the BLAST Fall Finals and from World Finals contention.

This is only possible as NIP end up with 5,100 points and finish in 9th, just two places from Liquid who are able to receive the final qualification spot as the winner of BLAST Fall Finals will be either Heroic or FaZe Clan, the latter of which has already qualified via their previous event wins.

  • FaZe Clan: 17600 Points [Qualified via ESL Pro League Season 15]

  • Natus Vincere: 12200 Points [Qualified via BLAST Spring Finals]

  • Vitality: 8825 Points [Qualified via EPL S16]

  • Denmark Heroic: 8000 Points [Qualified via Points or BLAST Fall Finals]

  • G2: 6625 Points [Qualified via Points]

  • OG: 6300 Points [Qualified via Points]

  • United States Liquid: 6212.5 Points [Qualified via Points]

  • ENCE: 5950 Points [Eliminated]

  • Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas: 5100 Points [Eliminated]

  • Denmark Astralis: 4700 Points [Eliminated]

  • Outsiders: 4562.5 Points [Qualified via IEM Rio]

For Liquid, this is another chance to end the year on a high note with their new squad after a surprising exit at IEM Rio and a Grand Finals loss in ESL Pro League S16. For the rest of North America, they will be cheering on their hometown heroes for the last event of the calendar year.

Liquid is now headed to Abu Dhabi to play at the BLAST Premier: World Finals where the first match kicks off on December 14th.
