Swani will look to help FURIA as the continue to fight towards the top ten

Swani looks to soar with FURIA

Swani joins up with another Brazilian team, after having previously worked with SK and MIBR.

Former Liquid, MIBR, and NRG analyst Jan "Swani" Müller has joined FURIA's support staff. Dust2.us has learned that after a short trial at DreamHack Masters Dallas, FURIA decided to make Swani a permanent addition to the team.

The German analyst will be working with Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira and Andrei "arT" Piovezan as the team look to build on their strong performance over the last six months.

Before joining FURIA, Swani has been with numerous top North American teams, including Liquid, SK, MIBR, and most recently NRG. The German analyst had been looking for a new home after stepping down from NRG back in February.

FURIA have been on the rise with the team turning heads at DreamHack Masters Dallas, after picking up wins against NRG, Fnatic, and Vitality. The addition of Swani is likely intended to help FURIA continue their growth and give the team another set of eyes now that teams will be paying more attention to the Brazilian squad and working to counter their playstyle.

FURIA's roster is now:

  • Brazil Yuri "yuurih" Gomes
  • Brazil Andrei "arT" Piovezan
  • Brazil Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo
  • Brazil Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato
  • Brazil Rinaldo "ableJ" Moda
  • Brazil Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira (Coach)
  •  Jan "Swani" Müller (Analyst)

FURIA are set to compete in the ECS Season 7, which is set to begin on Thursday in London at 5 AM EDT.
